I run a Google toolbar on my computer. The photo widget goes through random pics on your hard drive and puts them on the screen in a mini-slideshow. It runs all the time, and I love it because I can see my pics constantly, no matter what I am doing on the main screen. So anyway, when pics of the boys come up, I like to play a mental game with myself where I will identify which son is popping up on the screen. They look quite a bit alike, especially as tiny infants, but no matter - I AM ALWAYS RIGHT. I do not even have to look at the date stamp. I know the difference between my boys and I can tell which one is in the pic every. single. time.
Except one time. I actually was wrong yesterday. A picture of a screaming newborn came up and I immediately said to myself "That's Bean" without a second thought. I was not even confused or doubting myself. So can you imagine my surprise when I noticed that the date stamp on this new infant's picture said 2007? I don't play The Guess Who game anymore. It sucks.

that's cute & funny. i'd like to know more about the google toolbar & photo widget--how you do it, how it works, etc.

Sylvia, I just downloaded it from Google's website. Once you have the toolbar there are all kinds of settings: like whether to display it all the time (I do) - where to put it (mine is on the right side) - and which widgets to show. I have calendar, RSS Feeds, Google Talk, Notepad, To Do List, Google Searchbar, News, and of course(!) Photo Slideshow. It's really cool, I like it a lot.
